Web design is a form of art. At Rand Marketing we believe that scholarships can give an aspiring web designer/artist the opportunity to focus on his or her web designs instead of worrying about the cost of books and tuition. Our scholarship is about your artistic and creative ability. Rand Marketing is offering a $1000 scholarship to enable one student chosen from all entries to pursue his or her education demonstrating a passion for design and a creative submission.
Web Design Scholarship
ENROLLMENT: The Rand Marketing Web Design Scholarship is open to high school seniors and any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by September 1, 2016 at any accredited U.S. college, university and art or fashion institute.
APPLICATION : Each applicant must submit an essay of 250 words or more which includes:
1) Applicant’s name, address, phone number and the college, university or institute of attendance in September 2016: and
2) A description of what inspired the applicant to pursue a career in the design industry, why the applicant chose his or her particular college, university or institute to pursue a career in design and how the applicant expects his or her education to enhance their design creativity and career goals ; and
3) An original sketch created by the applicant of any inspired design (image can be computer generated, scanned or mailed in).
4) OPTIONAL: The applicant may also submit his or her original design on Rand Marketing’ Facebook page
